Salsa’s Become project focuses on several strategic points to enable a seamless integration of sustainability matters in the business, such as water consumption reduction, sustainable product packaging and extending the product lifecycle. By leveraging cutting edge technology in terms of machinery and “green” chemicals, alongside with the adequate know-how, Salsa will deliver products of the same quality and look, whilst reducing its water consumption drastically. By 2023, Salsa will eliminate 100% of the plastic from the supply chain packaging, as well as 50% of the paper packaging, through innovative reusable packaging linked with a reverse logistics flow. The product lifecycle will also be extended, giving the customer the option to repair or return used products.
