In partnership with Oxford, the notebook brand, Continente distributed collection bins across its storenetwork where its clients could deposit their notebooks and paper to be recycled. For every tonne collected, 20 trees were planted in Sonae Forest.

In 2023, Continente re-launched the "Cadernão" project during the return to school campaign, having been extended to 250 stores of the badge and note!. The initiative aimed to raise awareness and encourage consumers to separate the notebooks used and simultaneously support a reflow initiative in Portugal. Absolutely remarkable results were achieved: 155 tons of collected paper that were sent for recycling, giving way to the plantation of 3100 trees throughout 2024.
