MC celebrated a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Shell Energy Europe Ltd to purchase around 100GWh of renewable energy per year. This PPA with Shell plays a key role in accelerating the decarbonisation of our energy matrix. Nevertheless, it is just one of the several instruments in place. Overall, in 2023, Sonae achieved 40% of electricity consumption from renewable sources, and looking ahead, this number should increase.
